So I get off of work Wednesday night at 11:50 p.m. I go home I get to bed is roughly 1:00 a.m. my alarm wakes me up at 6:00 a.m. and I leave my home about 7:30.
I am very thankful I have the chance to support my church's food ministry. I get to associate with many very good people who want to do a good thing.
There was a great deal of needs in our community, and if I can work to help with some of them for some people then that is very positive. I'm so thankful that I have the resources and ability to do so.
The paperwork said we received 2000 pounds worth of donations this morning. All of which had to be carried from the sidewalk into the church and down a flight of stairs. I am not the oldest person on our squad, but I feel like I am the weakest link some days.
We got finished getting everything ready just about noon. I was able to go out and get a nice leisurely lunch, but it was at a breakfast spot! Stacks on 38 in Moorestown, New  Jersey. A very good and filling meal with wonderful service at a decent price, I couldn't ask for much more.
I was able to get to work about 2:00 p.m., and thankfully I am permitted to start an hour ahead of our regular shift, I work with a great troop but at midday there was just so much work that we may need to have overlapping shifts instead of a 15 minute break between them, the days of COVID are passed (at least I pray so).
It was a long tough night at work, but things slow down about 10:00 p.m.  I get off work about 11:45 p.m., like usual.
But instead of going home after a long tough day I grab my laundry and head to my local 24-hour laundromat, where I am presently.
At 1:00 in the morning there's nobody at the laundromat. Unfortunately, on the television the is  broadcasting last night presidential debate. What a fiasco this is that these two bozos are our choices? Both seem to be yammering and stammering exaggerators, or even downright liars. It would be a good thing if they just both retired and wrote a memoir and go into obscurity.
I tried, but I can't turn off the television nor screencast or even change channels. So I am outside in the buggy night air otherwise I'd be inside getting frustrated by what I see on television.
