The Day After Christmas

I am so very thankful for the friends who really made my Christmas so wonderful. When I was so very disappointed that what I had only hoped for was that my children would call me on this holiday, and neither of them did, that the Lord had blessed me with many warm greetings and best wishes, mostly via text messages, from people far and near, some of which I haven't heard from in a very long time.
So what if my phone didn't ring at all? So what if I mailed or hand-delivered 71 greeting cards and only received two back? I can still say that I am blessed.
May the Lord whose manifestation we celebrate this day be praised for His goodness today and every day!
After dinner with my best friends and some new friends I went to see 'A Complete Unknown', the Bob Dylan bio-pic. It was quite good and I recommend it to anyone who is even a casual appreciation for his works. There were only 5 other people in the theater for the 9:45 showing. There were many commercials and a few film trailers before the show and I didn't get out of the theater until 12:15 AM.
Today I am working on house cleaning and developing a new morning routine, which will be part of my New Year's resolutions, before work. I know that this will be a work in progress for some time to come but I wasn't to have written goals that I can refer to each and every day, that I can review and assess every so often.
